most of the time a joke villain gets an edgy reboot the writer thinks theyre soooo clever and theyre not.

How long do you use a tag with "spoilers" in it?

I don't. People should block the main tag if they don't want to see.

The day it airs/releases. Maybe the next day too if I'm feeling generous.

Two or three days.

A week.

A month.

A year.

I'm not above tagging "spoilers" for a hundred year old book.

my default is like a week if its a weekly show the tagging may slip a couple of days before the next ep if its a film then a few weeks but i tend to see films a few weeks after they come out so the cinemas are nice and empty so by that point i'd actually stop tagging about a month after it came out i tend not to filter spoiler tags except for weekly shows im REALLY into namely dr who and rwd most things im fairly unbothered by having stuff spoiled especially if that then makes me not bother to watch it for example knowing what The Whole Deal with gomens 2 is i have decided i dont really care about watching that cos the part everyone is talking about is not what i cared about in the original so having seen the spoilers i know its not for me really i'll probably see some of it at some point but idk

I honestly do not think “AI will never be as good as human creativity” is a good argument at this point. Like yes, it is true right now, but they’re just going to keep trying to prove it wrong. To me the line is, “Modern AI is built off of PLAGIARISM, UNPAID and UNDERPAID labor.” AI is a labor rights issue, not just for the people who’s labor it would replace, but for the people whose labor was STOLEN for the AI to “create” anything.

All of this. Plus, they aren't TRYING to be as good as human creativity. They're trying to be FASTER than human creativity. One of the tech bros working on AI came right out and said that AIs will never write better than people. What it CAN do is write FASTER. And eventually, real writers will get drowned in the flood and be almost impossible to find. THAT is their goal. Not to replace us, but simply to ERRADICATE us. And they're using our own stolen words to do it. They are trying to kill the very CONCEPT of creativity.
